Session Details

The Planning Session

Because we believe so strongly in using artwork of your family as part of your home decor, we make sure to guide you through every step of the process. We start the process with a personalized planning session, where we will meet together and talk about your dreams for your portrait artwork session. We'll talk about details of your family, the perfect location for your portraits, clothing considerations, where you'd like to hang your finished portrait artwork, and all the other details that we need in order to make amazing portrait artwork pieces that you will treasure for decades.

The Portrait Creation Session

A few weeks after your Planning Session, we will have your Portrait Creation session, where we will photograph your family. Kim strives to make this a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We will photograph many different relationship groupings and get beautiful artistically arranged and emotionally compelling images while creating a exquisite experience throughout the entire process.

Personalized Ordering Session

A week or two after your portrait creation session, we'll meet to view and order your portraits. During that ordering appointment, we will help you with decisions on which images are the best ones to display on the walls of your home, including the correct layout, appropriate size and shape for your portraits, and the best artistic finish. We will also help you with decisions on what you need for the important people in your life, like grandparents, aunts & uncles, godparents, etc., and we can help you choose a series of images to display in one of our beautiful, custom photographic albums.
